todd: the apple store is back up. in typical apple annoying fashion, they shutter the store during the keynote and then reopen it when the keynote is done. marketing uber alles.

jessica: Twitter is full of speculation and coverage of this event. It's rather amusing. Someone even reported on the absence of anything new in his local Apple store.

todd: i am frustrated with how closed the apple environment has become. ipods used to be usable from almost any operating system. now they work with itunes or nothing.
