Bone marrow donation: deciding to donate and being thankful someone did
In May, the radio show Weekend America featured a piece by Marc Sanchez about his struggle with deciding whether to donate bone marrow after being contacted a few years after registering via the National Marrow Donor Program. Later, the program shared a letter Joel Carter sent about how thankful he is one of the two people eligible to give him bone marrow decided to do so. Imagine depending on someone to save your life like that! You could be a match for someone waiting for a donor.
