I browsed through The Shack at a local bookstore and ended up reading four chapters plus the ending. BOOOMM!! It was powerful. Despite some obvious theological loopholes and some awkward sentencing, the work is awe-inspiring. The message of forgiveness alone is worth the read. Another riveting work is A Step Into Deliverance by Toni Pugh. It's a real page-turner.
A fellow was wearing a shirt to the dance the other night that said something like "Middle aged and still as tarp as a shack."
