colby: I am going to look at these this weekend. It may be my new summer toy.

Night Ranger: Unless you ordered one of these last year, they are going to be really hard to get before August.
Posted Apr 02, 2008

colby: That's not what I want to hear, That would kind of defeat the purpose to get it when summer is almost over.

Jim Cowie: looks like it has decent handling in snow

Jim Cowie: get the studded tires, take it out on the lake at the fishing derby

a: You might as well throw a track where the rear tire is and two skis where the tires are when the snow starts to fall.

jhota: rather have a T-Rex: http://www.go-t-rex.com/

jhota: or even, in an odd sort of way, a Carver: http://www.carver-worldwide.com/Home/Index.asp?nc=1

colby: I have never seen the T-Rex before, that thing is awesome. The problem is how much it may cost. It certainly looks like a good time.

jhota: yeah, the T-Rex costs about $40k. which is a ton of cash for something without a windscreen. or doors. but it's cheap for the performance - naught to sixty is 3.9 seconds, which is Porsche 911 Turbo territory. that, and it'll pull 1.9 lateral g. which is F1 territory.
