Interesting alternative to chat/forum discussions

Neat idea, probably too complicated, but a nice explanation. Interestingly, the kinds of interactions that it precludes are likely those that many (or most) users are after!

It is an interesting idea. When I went to look at a couple of topics though, the interface seemed quite clumsy and confusing. My initial impression is that the system would be too complicated for a broad audience, and would only be interesting to those that are the most vocal about topics.
