Math majors project March Madness winner
Have you turned in your March Madness grid yet? If not, you might not want to listen to this segment from NPR's All Things Considered. For a class project applying math to real world situations, College of Charleston math majors used the data from the 65 basketball teams to compute how the teams might fare in the tournament, including upsets and the final victor. Will the professor grade their bracket based on what happens in real life?
