Bill Clinton earns a "Monica"
Now that the race is over and Hillary has lost, her ongoing attempts to hurt Obama, to smear him, to make rural voters hate him, to convince America that a black man can't and shouldn't be president, make her little better than the Republicans she hated during the 1990s - people who were out to hurt her simply for the joy of inflicting pain.

the upside of obama being knocked around is that he's more ready for the general election. the downside is that the stigma of being an elitist muslim may stick.

I have mixed feelings. Clinton's tactic piss me off. But, this fight is registering new Democrats all over the place. It is also proving that Obama will be able to take the Republican attack machine. Clinton's "hard working white voters" would still be racist if she weren't pushing the meme that a black guy can't win. So I'm not sure there is a real downside, other than I'm sick of this damn primary.
