Bachmann is pro-choice on bulbs
Michelle Bachman, my least favorite MN congress-person sure loves freedom -- the freedom to have incandescent bulbs. She's also sticking it to man, and asserting states' rights in a way that would make Thomas Jefferson proud.

She also "called any human connection to global warming "voodoo, nonsense, hokum, a hoax."

todd: incandescent bulbs are getting more efficient all the while people are not sure what to do about the mercury in cfls. the solution is probably high efficiency LEDs but they're not quite ready or affordable now. this is exactly the *wrong* time for governments to mess with this situation while it is still developing.

todd: this lady might well be a loon. i'm just saying she's not wrong about standing up to government attempts to ban incandescent bulbs.
