I think as a teacher, this is the best day of the year. All year long, all you want to do is take advantage of how gullible the students are and this is the one day you can do that.

One year, I had a boy in my fifth grade class who had a brother in third grade. We switched there desks, that was funny. I pretended to get so mad one year, that I quit. I walked out about half way through the day and didn't come back to the very end of the day with a big april fool's t-shirt on. That was probably the best one. The kids flipped out.

We sent in an email to our support queue indicating the personal domain of one of our admins was being cited for copyright infringement in India with forged email headers so he couldn't back trace it. Then, one of our folks went do an outside line and called in to Support using his best Mumbai accent to talk to him about the requirement that he release his domain name. He spent 15 minutes talking to "Vijay" on the phone before he saw the rest of us falling out in the conference room. When the jig was up he was quite the good sport about it.
