Mine would mostly be "that didn't used to be there" -- lots of changes in the old Bellevue (WA) neighborhood since the 70s.

Yup, in true Google fashion, there's a chunk of code, mostly making calls back to Google. Since they don't allow direct subscribing to an RSS feed, you need to go through their interface to set up the feed (I'm not sure what this level of control buys them).
